Hong Kong police have arrested five men on suspicion of stealing 400,000 defective masks which were supposed to be thrown away, and selling them on the open market.In all 9,000 boxes of masks, manufactured by Sinopharm Tech Holdings Limited, were taken, and officers suspect around 3,600 boxes of the stolen SPT masks had already been repackaged and sold.According to Inspector Chung Mei-kei, Sinopharm asked an employee to dispose of the boxes after they failed standard testing in July.Another…
